Job description
Guide and coach one or more Scrum teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Coordinate dependencies, manage risks, and remove impediments to protect Sprint commitments. Maintain healthy product and Sprint backlogs in collaboration with the Product Owner. Establish and enforce team agreements, such as Definition of Ready and Definition of Done. Provide transparent delivery plans, metrics, and progress reporting to stakeholders. Coach continuous improvement and cross-skilling to increase team maturity and performance. In Scaled Agile contexts, lead team-level preparation for PI events and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART syncs.
Requirements
We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery, Scaled Agile facilitation, and Jira/Confluence administration, and a proven ability to optimize team flow, remove impediments, and enable high-performing, self-managing teams., Hands-on expertise with Jira and Confluence for planning, tracking, and reporting. Proven experience coaching teams on Agile best practices and mindset change. Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and escalations across teams and stakeholders. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Working knowledge of DevOps practices and test engineering concepts. Experience in solution delivery processes within complex enterprise environments. Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Bank of America's Scaled Agile implementation. Certifications from Scaled Agile or Scrum Alliance.
