Job description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Technical Lead / Architect to lead the endtoend architecture, design, and delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. This is a handson senior role responsible for aligning HR technology solutions with business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and enterprise integration standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating across both functional and technical domains, is actively involved in solution design and build activities, and partners closely with HR and IT stakeholders to drive successful outcomes., HCM Architecture & Solution Design

  • Own and govern the endtoend Oracle Fusion HCM architecture
  • Act as the primary design authority across HCM modules
  • Define and enforce standards for:
  • Configuration
  • Integrations
  • Security
  • Extensibility and customizations
  • Design scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles

Functional & Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a handson Functional Technical Lead, guiding both design and execution
  • Translate business requirements into:
  • Functional designs
  • Technical specifications
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Lead requirement workshops and facilitate stakeholder discussions
  • Review and guide development work while actively contributing to delivery

HCM Modules & Capabilities

  • Design and support solutions across Oracle FusionHCM, including:
  • Core HR
  • Payroll
  • Time & Labor
  • Absence Management
  • Talent & Learning
  • Recruiting and onboardingrelated modules
  • Ensure alignment of HR processes with system capabilities and data models

Integrations & SaaS Enablement

  • Architect and govern integrations between Oracle HCM and internal or external SaaS platforms
  • Support transformations involving offplatform solutions, including thirdparty recruiting or talent systems
  • Design and oversee integrations using enterprise integration patterns and APIs

Delivery, Testing & Optimization

  • Lead sprint planning, estimation, execution, and milestone delivery
  • Provide oversight and guidance to onshore and offshore delivery teams
  • Review and guide development across:
  • Fast Formulas
  • BI Publisher
  • HCM Extracts / HDL
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • Integration platforms
  • Userexperience tooling and UI extensions
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, upgrades, and cutover activities
  • Proactively manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • 7+ years of handson experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud
  • Proven experience as a:
  • Functional Technical Lead
  • Technical Lead
  • Solution Architect
  • Strong functional expertise across multiple HCM modules
  • Deep understanding of HR and Payroll data models and integration patterns
  • Experience working in global onshoreoffshore delivery models

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with both business and technical teams
  • Ability to balance delivery speed with stability, security, and scalability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle HCM Cloud technical or functional certifications
  • Experience with largescale or global HCM implementations
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Experience with UX modernization initiatives
  • Background in regulated or auditheavy environments
