Job description

  • Administer and configure vulnerability management platforms (Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7).
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Document residual risks and develop POA&Ms to track progress.
  • Provide guidance and training to agency stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Platform Expertise: 5+ years with tools like Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
  • System Knowledge: 5+ years managing Windows and Linux environments.
  • Risk Management: Strong understanding of CVSS ratings, POA&M tracking, and mitigation strategies.
  • Preferred Tech: Scripting/Automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with NIST, PCI DSS, or MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent (highly desired).
