What you'll do...
Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role We are seeking a Staff-level Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Webpack 5 Module Federation, and Redux, along with solid backend experience in Java/J2EE, APIs, and Spring Boot. Our team collaborates closely with Walmart U.S. and Sam's Club Merchandising Engineering teams to unify the platforms and streamline merchants tool across organizations. We develop and enhance the Merchants experience for global customers by leveraging experimentation and data-driven decision making. Committed to delivering reliable and secure systems, we uphold industry standards for performance and availability. The team applies cloud-native architecture and software design principles to build scalable, maintainable solutions. Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to our approach, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical excellence across international markets. About Team: Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few. What you'll do:

Deliver scalable platform capabilities across infrastructure, tooling, developer experience, and AI/ML frameworks.

Lead full SDLC: design, coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.Architect cloud-native, resilient systems using microservices and containerization.

Build AI-driven applications with integrated ML components.

Conduct design reviews and ensure architectural alignment.

Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence through documentation and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, success metrics, and outcomes.

Delivers platform capabilities within a sub-organization or technical area, including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks (for example, CI/CD, SDKs, model runtimes, feature stores).

Aligns development efforts with roadmap milestones and domain priorities to ensure cohesive execution., We use a hybrid way of working that is primarily in office coupled with virtual when not onsite. Requirements

10+ years of experience in the design and development of highly scalable distributed applications and platforms.

Hands-on expertise in React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Webpack 5 Module Federation, Redux, PostCSS / CSS Modules, Babel, ESLint, Living Design System, Node.js (LTS) etc

Has implemented Multi Tenant Architecture or platform based experience.

Hands-on experience in Microservices, and RESTful web services development in Java SpringBoot, Spring Kafka (or equivalent framework).

In-depth knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, Microservice Architecture, and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, service registry, VMs, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Expertise with SQL and NoSQL database usage, design, and optimizations.

Experience with ML Platform and ML Ops methodologies / GenAi.

Good knowledge of messaging systems: Kafka / RabbitMQ.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
