Telecommunications Technician

We're looking for a Telecommunications Technician to support network and communications infrastructure projects in the Greater Nashville area. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with telecom systems, and being part of a collaborative technical team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and related equipment
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
• Configure and program telecom devices and systems
• Support VoIP, PBX systems, routers, switches, and structured cabling
• Work closely with team members to ensure reliable network performance
• Provide technical support and issue resolution for end users
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and industry standards
• Stay current with evolving telecom technologies

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus)
• Prior experience in telecommunications or a related technical field
• Working knowledge of routers, switches, cabling, VoIP, and PBX systems
• Familiarity with basic network protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
