Job description

An employer is looking for a Databricks Engineer in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will work with a team to support the planning and implementation of migrating from Azure Data Lake to Databricks. This person must be strong with Azure and Databricks and needs to have experience doing transformation work. They need to be strong with migration processes and the steps that are needed to move from Azure Data Lake to Databricks.

Requirements

5+ years of hands on Databricks experience

Should have experience on working with Azure Data lake, Databricks and Snowflake.
Strong knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL
Should have GitLab exposure.
Good to have knowledge of traditional ETL on Unix and Oracle.
Good to have experience on working on migration projects.
Good communication skills and strong experience working in Agile methodology. Certifications in Azure, Snowflake and Agile.
