Job description
This role is part of a team building and enhancing an enterprise-level Ansible Automation Platform. The engineer will be responsible for components of complex engineering and analytical tasks, serving as a proficient technical resource. The role involves developing controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared content across enterprise tools and implementing the SDLC chain for managing automation content., * Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including technical support and systems programming.
- Assist in establishing input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration.
- Develop controls for automation platforms, focusing on shared content and catalogs across enterprise tools.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Influence or direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations.
- Consider applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for alignment and to augment service offerings.
- Incorporate AI channels into standard practice to foster productivity, consistency, and quality.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of top-tier systems engineering experience.
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years of experience with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
- 5+ years of expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting (YAML, XML, Python, Perl, Shell).

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Strong organizational, analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Ability to understand complex application infrastructure.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot is a plus.
- Experience with TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) is helpful for supporting current needs and planning for tool transitions.
Benefits & conditions
The pay rate for this position is between $72.00/hr and $77.29/hr. The specific rate will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience and skill set. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
