Job description
We are looking for a Cloud Hosting Engineer with strong system administration expertise and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience in managing secure, scalable environments across Linux and Windows platforms, along with a focus on automation, compliance, and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS environments
- Administer and maintain enterprise systems running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows servers
- Configure and manage network components including firewalls, routing, and secure connectivity such as IPsec tunnels
- Support and maintain DNS services and IP-based networking across distributed systems
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Bash, and Microsoft PowerShell
- Implement and enforce infrastructure security standards, compliance controls, and best practices
- Perform advanced troubleshooting through structured analysis, log review, and root cause identification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability
- Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (especially RHEL) and Windows system administration
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure within AWS (compute, networking, storage)
- Experience with firewall technologies and secure network design
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and IPsec protocols
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise-scale environments

- Senior-level system administration mindset with emphasis on:

- Scalability and enterprise-grade architecture
- Automation and operational consistency
- Compliance and security best practices
- Strong understanding of:
- Operating systems (Linux and Windows internals)
- Virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, Xen, and Hyper-V
- Container technologies like Docker and LXC, including differences between containers and hypervisors
- Storage solutions including SAS, NVMe, iSCSI, network file systems, and object storage (S3)
- Network security, edge routing, and firewall architecture
