Job description
The Design Architect plays a key role in the development and delivery of commercial architectural projects, with a focus on luxury (High-end) retail and mixed-use building types. This position contributes across all phases of design, from schematic design through construction administration, and works closely with senior staff, principals, consultants, and clients to produce high-quality, well-coordinated architectural solutions. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a solid understanding of construction documentation, building codes, and the design process., * Contribute to project design and execution from schematic design through construction administration
- Produce and coordinate comprehensive construction document sets for commercial and retail projects
- Develop architectural details and guide design development under the direction of senior staff
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project alignment and document accuracy
- Review and contribute to the work of junior staff members
- Support agency approvals and permitting processes
- Maintain organized project documentation and coordinate drawings, specifications, and revisions
- Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met, This role is based in a collaborative, design-driven studio environment that values thoughtful architecture, technical rigor, and teamwork. Employees work closely with peers, senior staff, and firm leadership, gaining exposure to a wide range of project phases and responsibilities.

Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience following graduation
- Experience working on commercial and luxury retail building types
- Solid understanding of building codes and permitting processes
- Experience producing construction documents and coordinating consultant input
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail, * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with architectural workflows, documentation standards, and detailing
- Highly organized with the ability to manage project information and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, * Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary design team
- Interested in professional growth and long-term career development within a design-focused practice

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
