Job description
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our People Systems team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our critical HR systems landscape including but not limited to Workday, Greenhouse, Lattice, CultureAmp. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and understanding of HR processes to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our HR technology solutions, supporting our global workforce. You will be a trusted advisor, collaborating with HR, finance, payroll stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
- Design, implement, and configure HR systems, including Workday HCM (Human Capital Management, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits), Payroll, and other related platforms.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to drive system enhancements and process automation.
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Manage Workday security roles, user permissions, and compliance configurations.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations.
- Participate in Workday system upgrades, testing, and release management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues, working with internal teams and Workday support.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on Workday enhancements, trends, and best practices to optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems, with hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits and Payroll.
- Experience with Workday reporting, security, business processes, and integrations.
- Familiarity with EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs) is a plus.
- Experience participating in system implementations, enhancements, or optimization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS governance, SOX controls, or automation tools is a plus.

Benefits & conditions
The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $204,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
