The Digital Client Experience & Platforms team defines and drives the online and mobile experiences for Morgan Stanley clients. In the Business Analyst role, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest digital solutions for our clients. This role will focus specifically on supporting product owners on the Digital Advice & Planning team to help execute against business objectives and deliver on the product roadmap for Morgan Stanley's Digital Client Experience and Platforms organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define and launch engaging consumer-facing experiences and apply your knowledge and subject matter expertise in financial services, wealth management, financial planning, investment advice, and digital experiences/technologies to create and launch innovative digital products and platforms for Morgan Stanley's client channels. What you'll do in the role:
- Support product owners with definition and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, and development and communication of business requirements
- Assist with critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the product vision/goals and address critical user and control needs
- Analyzing AI use cases to automate internal processes and deliver AI-powered client experiences
- Support prioritized product backlog- identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints using Jira/Confluence
- Using AI analytics for backlog prioritization/forecasting and automation of tasks
- Using generative AI to draft product scope, user stories, define functional behavior, and metrics for AI-driven initiatives
- Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements
- Specify acceptance criteria, review testing cases/scenarios and perform and oversee user acceptance testing as needed
- Analyze, define, and manage data flows/models and diverse datasets to define requirements and expected behavior for Morgan Stanley's digital planning solutions
- Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releases
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirements
- Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates
- Gather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features
- Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture, user flows, wireframes, and visual design comps
- Team up with program management/business transformation office to effectively organize and plan product releases
- Define, collect, and track KPIs and product/program adoption and usage metrics evangelize for adoption

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field is preferred. Master's degree will be a plus.
- 2 - 3 years of experience as a software business or systems analyst with track record of delivering new innovative web or mobile applications within an agile/scrum development process
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within scope.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized; detail oriented and can act as an advocate for the client and advisor
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity and experience with JIRA, JIVE, Sharepoint, HP ALM

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $58,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
