Job description
We are seeking a .NET Developer for a contract position in New York City. This role involves backend development within a global markets context. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET/C# and a proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency. This position requires strong technical and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Requirements
Experience: 7-10 years of professional software development experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong .NET / C# backend development experience.
- Proven ability to use AI tools in day-to-day development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, internal AI tools, code assistants).
- Ability to connect and leverage multiple AI tools to improve development efficiency.
- Comfortable with coding assessments during interviews.
Professional Skills:
- Strong communication and networking skills to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Stock Loan / Securities Lending / Equities Finance systems.
- A background in financial services or Capital Markets.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Quartz.
