Job description

As a Senior level Jira System Administrator, you will be part of the IT support and systems management department supporting enterprise-wide Jira and Atlassian tools., * Administer and support Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand workflow requirements and customize Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes accordingly.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders on Jira best practices and functionality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience with advanced Jira administration, including complex workflow design and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Jira project configurations, workflows, permissions, and schemes.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management and Confluence administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python), SQL, and Jira REST APIs for reporting and troubleshooting.
