Job description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect - SAP Commerce Cloud (eCommerce) and Salesforce to design and deliver a headless/composable eCommerce experience on SAP Commerce Cloud with deep Salesforce integrations (authentication, CPQ, proposals, contracts, orders/fulfillment, click-to-buy). Own solution architecture and lead end-to-end commerce and integration delivery with Salesforce, SAP ERP, payment gateways, and middleware., + Lead architecture and implementation for SAP Commerce Cloud with strong Salesforce integration

Design commerce flows: proposals, CPQ, contracts, bookings, orders, click-to-buy, and post-order lifecycle

Define integration patterns and topology (REST/SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Platform Events, CDC) and ensure data consistency and idempotency

Drive API design, data modeling, auth (SSO/OAuth2, JWT, SAML), and event/messaging strategy (Kafka/queues)

Select/govern middleware and API platforms (MuleSoft/API gateway); define error handling, retries, and reconciliation

Provide technical leadership, code/architecture reviews, and create solution artifacts (diagrams, PoCs, API contracts, NFRs)

Guide CI/CD, automated testing, deployment (Salesforce DX), and production support/runbooks

Ensure security, data governance, privacy, and FinOps-aware design; comply with Salesforce Shield and enterprise controls
Requirements

8+ years experience with architecture
-
5+ years experience with Salesforce and commerce integrations
-
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, contract/ordering integrations, and SAP Commerce integrations

Experience with Apex, LWC, OmniStudio/Experience Cloud patterns, and minimizing custom UI
-
Experience with Salesforce platform tooling (DX, CI/CD, Connected Apps, Named Credentials)

Experience in integration platforms (MuleSoft or similar), identity federation (SSO/OAuth2/SAML), data mapping/reconciliation, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with Click-to-buy and enterprise CPQ

Experience with B2B commerce

Experience in team leadership and stakeholder influence

Experience with DevOps/containerization (Docker/K8s), Azure, IaC, Spartacus, Heroku/Salesforce Functions

Summary Pay Range: $153,000 - $207,000
