Job description
- Install, configure, and manage big data platforms like Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark
- Monitor cluster performance and ensure high availability of systems
- Manage and maintain distributed storage systems such as HDFS
- Perform upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot issues related to cluster performance, data pipelines, and system failures
- Implement security policies, access controls, and data governance standards
- Work with development and data engineering teams to support data workflows
- Automate routine administrative tasks
