  • Design, develop, and implement firmware solutions for new Surface devices
  • Contribute to software validation and testing on proprietary hardware
  • Analyze system requirements and document specifications for firmware projects
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues during testing phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware and software integration

Requirements

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the hardware development department supporting the Surface device project. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., Experience in debugging Windows devices - familiarity with Windows devices and usability issues

Software validation/testing - experience validating software, especially on hardware devices

Basic Computer Skills, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field

  • 0-2 years of experience in firmware or software development
  • Familiarity with validation, Windows usability issues, and debugging tools
  • Experience with troubleshooting and unit testing of systems
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
