Job description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Intergrator to support a DOW program at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The Software Developer will provide software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers, including configuring hardware devices, testing new software, and designing network structures. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and developing system configurations within mixed environments-Windows, Linux, and containerized platforms-using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes. The role involves reviewing logs and outputs for server errors, including Java, Ruby, and Python issues, as well as creating, modifying, and maintaining scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and Shell. Additionally, the developer will utilize containerization platforms such as Docker or Podman to support application deployment and management.
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelors Degree
- 6 years of relevant experience
o Containerization experience with any products - PodMan, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, etc.
o Experience using any of the following CI/CD systems:
o Atlassian - BitBucket, Jira
o GitHub
o Experience within the last 5 years with any of the following scripting languages:
o BASH
o POWERSHELL
o PYTHON Experience
Benefits & conditions
$50/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
