Job description

Oracle Health Advance is a customer-facing analytics platform that helps healthcare organizations identify improvement opportunities by comparing clinician efficiency and adoption metrics to peer benchmarks, presenting actionable insights via dynamic visualizations, and enabling collaborative, data-driven improvement projects across the enterprise., As a Senior Data Architect on the Oracle Health Advance research and development team, you will lead the design and development of analytics that power our next-generation electronic health record insights platform. You will define scalable data architectures, guide the development of robust data pipelines, and drive the integration of diverse healthcare data sources across Oracle Health's ecosystem, including its new electronic health record and suite of clinical AI agents.

In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate complex healthcare and performance data into actionable intelligence. You will play a key role in shaping data strategy, defining high-impact metrics, and enabling enterprise-wide improvement initiatives. Your leadership and technical expertise will influence the direction of data products, ensuring they deliver measurable value to clinicians and healthcare organizations globally.

You will also mentor junior team members, establish best practices in data architecture and analytics, and contribute to the long-term vision of Oracle Health Advance.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in data architecture, analytics, or related fields

  • Demonstrated ability in data modeling, data architecture, and building scalable data systems

  • Strong technical skills in data acquisition and manipulation using advanced SQL

  • Strong skills in Python, R, or similar languages for large-scale data processing and analysis

  • Experience optimizing complex, cloud-based data pipelines and distributed data systems

  • General understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and system design principles

  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), with a focus on driving executive-level insights

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), clinical workflows, and healthcare data standards is a plus

  • Experience with statistical modeling, experimentation, and applied machine learning

  • Experience defining data strategy and aligning technical solutions with business objectives

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders and translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Proven ability to prioritize work across competing initiatives, and drive execution in ambiguous environments

  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers or analysts

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on using metrics to drive decision-making and behavioral change

  • Curiosity, creativity, and a track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems

Benefits & conditions

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
