Oracle Application Developer

In this role, you will be a key player in our Oracle-based development projects, bridging the gap between database architecture and application functionality., * Architect, design, develop, and document structures for complex permitting applications.

• Fix and develop application changes while adhering to coding standards and SDLC best practices.
• Debug applications and ensure specifications are met before integrating new modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Support production systems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Take a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and stakeholder communication.

• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer (PL/SQL, Oracle 19c/12c, Forms & Reports, APEX).
• Advanced PL/SQL development with Stored Procedures, Packages, and Triggers.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL Collections, Records, Object Types, and Dynamic SQL.
• Experience using Ref Cursors and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Ability to analyze system requirements and create design blueprints.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Oracle Red Gate for code promotion.
• Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting.
• Basic understanding of Java.
• Experience with Data Warehousing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
