Job description
This role is responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for SharePoint SE and SharePoint Online. The Platform Product Manager will maximize the value of these platforms at the program level within a scaled Agile model. This position involves creating and prioritizing features in the program backlog and communicating the program vision to stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams., * Define and communicate the vision and roadmap for SharePoint services based on customer requirements, industry trends, and strategic direction.
- Create and prioritize features and epics in the program backlog, managing trade-offs between emerging and planned work.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to ensure alignment on priorities and to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Refine features and epics with Product Owners to maintain a ready work backlog for upcoming quarters.
- Review and accept features and epics, making decisions on scope and requirements.
- Work with Product Owners and teams to ensure maximum value is obtained through technology.
- Maintain oversight on delivery to ensure timely and relevant outcomes.
- Drive continual service improvement based on data, metrics, and user feedback.
- Facilitate the evolution of a suitable application support and DevOps model for automation products and services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Product Management role.
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint SE and/or SharePoint Online.
- Expertise in managing large or complex product rollouts.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft 365 Suite, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Power Platforms.
- Experience with Virtual Meeting, Email, and Chat services.
Benefits & conditions
A pay rate in the range of $48.00 to $53.56 per hour is offered for this position.
