The IT Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within the defined budget. Responsibilities will include planning and execution of technology projects, acquiring/scheduling/coordinating resources to deliver projects according to the plan, and research and report on new technologies and how they provide value to the strategic plan of the organization. Position requires on-site support 1-2 days per week. While not anticipated, on-site requirements are subject to change based on customer requirements. Position requires supporting critical nationwide projects in various US time zones (eastern to pacific). Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: o Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget o Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility o Document the technical, financial, and resource allocation aspects of each project o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation o Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress o Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects o Ensure resource availability and allocation o Anticipate potential project roadblocks and identify alternatives in an independent and efficient manner o Perform risk management to minimize project risks o Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs o Brief Senior Leadership on project initiatives, status, and future developments within the organization., + Serves as the technical lead for network infrastructure projects and high-level troubleshooting. Must be capable of designing, configuring, and securing complex network environments independently. Responsible for advanced configurations (Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, and MS Azure) and will serve as an escalation point for the Network Engineer. Position requires on-site support 2-3 days per week. While not anticipated, on-site requirements are subject to change based on customer requirements. Experience working with digital and analog telecommunications including VoIP and radio systems
Experience in developing internal and deliverable system-level test procedures, preferably for mission critical equipment, within a production environment.
