Job description

Client and Partner Relations

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Labcorp, clients, and external real-world data (RWD) partners, acting as a single point of contact while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Independently review, understand, and communicate client objectives, clarifying scope, providing updates, and managing partner expectations.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, providing updates and capturing meeting notes and action items.

Strategic Evaluation and Decision-Making

  • Apply appropriate decision-making frameworks and identify when issues or opportunities require escalation.
  • Navigate the evolving RWD landscape to critically evaluate data partnerships and assess strategic value.
  • Identify potential conflicts of interest or broader strategic opportunities involving clients or data partners.

Data and Financial Management

  • Independently generate pricing quotes for data requests and communicate them to data marketplaces and external clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive opportunity documentation using tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, Excel, and related platforms.
  • Develop and present dashboards, metrics, and summary reports to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Partner with Labcorp finance, invoicing, and receivables teams to ensure timely contract processing and payment.

Process Improvement and Project Management

  • Identify, design, and lead process improvement and tool-development initiatives.
  • Serve as project manager and liaison between internal cross-functional stakeholders.

Contract Management Support

  • Provide administrative and subject matter expertise related to contract templates and agreement usage.
  • Review draft agreements to ensure scope accuracy and partner with Legal to develop or amend templates as needed., The Lead Real World Data Partnerships plays a critical role in managing and evaluating Labcorp's real-world data collaborations. This position works across clients, external data partners, Legal, Finance, and internal business teams to ensure partnerships are executed efficiently, strategically, and confidentially. The role combines relationship management, operational oversight, financial coordination, and contract support to enable effective use of real-world data assets in support of life sciences research and healthcare innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 or more years of experience in data partnerships, alliance management, real-world data/evidence (RWD/RWE), or customer success supporting the life sciences or healthcare sector.
  • 2 or more years of experience working at or with life sciences organizations in commercial, research and development, or RWD/RWE settings., * Master's degree, * Experience working with real-world data within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy laws, and data-handling best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong planning, multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Professional persistence, adaptability, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience using data management systems and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain tracking, reporting, and documentation processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Accurate data entry and basic data analysis capabilities.

Benefits & conditions

Work Schedule: This is a full time, exempt (salaried) position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the employee's local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility to support global partners or cross-time-zone collaboration, with reasonable notice provided when possible., Pay Range: $115-140k
