The Payments and Banking team builds the foundational backend systems that power every dollar flowing through Ramp. We're a platform-first team obsessed with correctness, reliability, and scale - providing the rock-solid financial infrastructure that enables Ramp's explosive growth. Money at Ramp isn't just one thing: it's domestic currencies, international currencies, cutting-edge stablecoins, rewards points, and more. The platforms we build handle all of these diverse forms of value at massive scale. To do that, we maintain healthy, fast connections to real-world banking systems of every shape and size - from small-business checking accounts to enterprise treasury accounts to cryptocurrency wallets. When we build reliable abstractions, every other team at Ramp can build things that just work for every customer. What You'll Do Design and build large-scale backend systems for money movement with strict correctness requirements Architect clean, extensible abstractions for complex payments infrastructure - making it easier for other teams to interface with financial rails Build systems that handle both traditional banking and emerging crypto payment rails Interface with diverse third-party banking and payments partners to accelerate feature delivery Own problems end to end - from technical architecture to production reliability to partner integrations Bring deep attention to detail to financial systems where doing things right matters more than moving fast, Experience in fintech, payments, or banking (ACH, card rails, crypto, ledgers) Familiarity with financial concepts: billing, reconciliation, ledgering, banking flows Experience integrating with third-party financial APIs or banking partners Background working closely with enterprise customers or navigating treasury management systems Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees) 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you Partially covered for your dependents One Medical annual membership 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp) Flexible PTO Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) Parental Leave Unlimited AI token usage Pet insurance Centralized home-office equipment ordering for all employees Health and Wellness stipend In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more Budget for intra-office travel Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed) Referral Instructions If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. Requirements
