Job description
In this role, you will design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Oracle SOA technologies, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms to support large-scale modernization efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-performing systems that enable logistics, supply chain, and business operations across a secure defense environment., * Design, build, and maintain SOA composite applications using Oracle SOA Suite components including BPEL, Mediator, ESB integrations, and Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
- Develop and support enterprise integrations using SOAP and REST services to support logistics, supply chain, and enterprise business operations in a federal environment
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into technical designs and integration patterns
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution across integration platforms
- Participate in code reviews, system validations, and release readiness activities
- Contribute to technical design sessions, system walkthroughs, and solution refinement discussions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and test artifacts
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity, configuration management, and quality assurance standards
- Maintain compliance with data handling and security policies appropriate for a federal work environment
- Support Agile development processes and continuous delivery practices
Schedule & Shift Details
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Remote work supporting federal defense programs, * Support mission-critical defense system integration and modernization efforts
- Work with advanced Oracle SOA and enterprise integration technologies
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to secure, scalable, and high-impact defense solutions
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 4+ years experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB) and service-oriented integration development
- Minimum of 4+ years experience with Java, PL/SQL, or similar programming languages supporting enterprise integration
- Minimum of 4+ years experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience with Agile Project Management
- Proficiency with XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and web services technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to analyze logs, payloads, and service flows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring and implementing Oracle B2B, including use of Document Editor to create guideline files, definitions, trading partner configurations, and B2B agreements
- Experience delivering integration solutions within defense, federal, or other highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms, automated testing tools, and Oracle Cloud technologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
- Enterprise system integration and SOA architecture design
- Oracle middleware platforms and integration services
- Troubleshooting service flows, logs, and payloads
- Agile development methodologies and collaborative delivery
