We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate and resourceful Software Engineers to bring diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to make Prime Video even better for our customers. You will spend your time as a hands-on machine learning practitioner and a research leader. You will play a key role on the team, building and guiding machine learning models from the ground up. At the end of the day, you will have the reward of seeing your contributions benefit millions of Amazon.com customers worldwide., * Develop AI solutions for various Prime Video Search systems using Deep learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, and optimization methods;

  • Understand problem space, identify gaps and opportunity for improvement, create roadmap and plans for delivering business goals;
  • Lead cross-team collaboration and work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver AI solutions end-to-end;
  • Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on in-depth data analyses;
  • Effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field;
  • Mentor and grow junior scientists and interns;
  • Publish your research findings in top conferences and journals.

About the team

Prime Video Personalization and Discovery science team owns different aspects of personalization algorithms, from user-item relevance, item-item relevance, and page composition, to name a few. We work closely with the engineering teams to put our models in production.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language, * 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
