Job description
- Own end-to-end UX/UI design for complex, workflow-driven applications within financial services
- Translate business requirements and product vision into high-fidelity, build-ready designs that accelerate engineering delivery
- Design intuitive experiences across lending workflows (origination, underwriting, compliance, servicing)
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across products
- Balance usability, accessibility (WCAG AA), technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements in all design decisions
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders from concept through delivery
- Continuously iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and real-world usage
- Approach design as an evolving system, not static deliverables
Design Environment
- Primary Tool: Figma (component libraries, design tokens, advanced prototyping, auto-layout)
- Design System: Shared component libraries aligned with Angular-based front-end architecture
- Collaboration: Close partnership with engineering teams; designs must consider component architecture, state management, and responsiveness
- Domain: Financial services (regulated environment), requiring data-dense interfaces and compliance-aware design
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in UX/UI design for complex web applications (enterprise or regulated industries preferred)
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma
- Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, and responsive design
- Experience conducting user interviews and product research
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG AA)
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams and understanding design-to-code workflows
- Experience designing data-heavy, workflow-driven applications (dashboards, forms, multi-step processes)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus
