Job description

  • Design and implement scalable Google Cloud Platform data platforms
  • Architect end-to-end data ecosystems (ingestion transformation analytics)
  • Lead data migration initiatives to Google Cloud Platform
  • Optimize BigQuery performance and cost
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and lead architecture discussions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer
  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS / Azure)
  • Consulting background in enterprise environments

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Platform Architect to lead the design and build of enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires strong expertise in BigQuery, data engineering, and cloud migration, along with the ability to work closely with client stakeholders and drive architecture decisions. Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Deep expertise in BigQuery (design, optimization, performance tuning)
  • Experience in enterprise data platform architecture
  • Strong background in ETL / ELT and data engineering
  • Experience in data migration (on-prem / cloud to Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of data pipelines and integration patterns
  • Experience with IAM, security, and governance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of data quality, lineage, and metadata management
  • Experience with monitoring and observability
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
