Vmware Cloud Foundation Architect

Job Title: VCF Architect Location: Primarily Remote (occasional travel to Derby) Clearance: SC Cleared (Sole UK Nationals Only) approx. 4-week onboarding period

We are seeking an experienced VCF Architect to support a greenfield infrastructure engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the architecture, driving technical design, and leading requirements gathering workshops with both internal stakeholders and key third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment in a greenfield setting
• Facilitate and drive requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders and external partners
• Define and document high-level and low-level designs
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams and suppliers to ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and implementation

• Proven track record in leading design and discovery workshops

• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with VMware NSX

• Candidates with NSX expertise will be considered for a Full time role

• Without NSX, the role scope is expected to be approximately 50%
