Job description
- Analyze and assess the network infrastructure and operations; develop standards, procedures, and documentation;
- Devise and recommend short and long-range plans for development and enhancement of hardware and production systems;
- Develop and enforce production standards and policies in conjunction with the senior network engineer and database administrator;
- Maintain audit compliance with state requirements of central data systems, user accounts, backup/disaster recovery, and security of the data center;
- Work closely with the Information Security Manager to develop and enforce security standards and policies for cybersecurity and NIST/Cobit 5 network security standards;
- Create and follow change management procedures for all network changes;
- Facilitate communication between IT units to build partnerships throughout the department and better serve customers in meeting business objectives
Requirements

Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);

Experience with network administration (10+ years);

Experience with senior network administration (5+ years);

Experience with at least one of the following: F5, Palo Alto, VMware, or HyperV; Preferred:
-
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio;

Experience with PowerPoint and SharePoint
