Job description

LeMans is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, operate, secure, and continually enhance our enterprise network infrastructure across manufacturing, corporate, and remote environments. This role ensures reliable connectivity and high performance across both on-premises systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), all while applying modern security and Zero-Trust principles.

As a Network Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with Security Operations, Systems, Cloud, and IT Support teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions that support automation, scalability, and continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and VoIP infrastructure across all locations
  • Implement standards for routing, switching, addressing, QoS, and high availability to support production-critical operations
  • Perform lifecycle management for all network devices, including firmware, configuration standards, and replacement planning
  • Troubleshoot complex Layer 1-7 networking issues and support vulnerability remediation
  • Implement secure segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, and Zero-Trust aligned practices
  • Integrate network telemetry into SIEM tools and support improvements to alerts and response playbooks
  • Support NAC/802.1X, secure VPN posture, certificate-based authentication, and secure administrative access
  • Manage SD-WAN and WAN circuits, including ISP/vendor coordination and site cutovers
  • Administer site-to-site VPNs (IPsec) and remote access VPN with strong encryption and monitoring
  • Manage wireless infrastructure, including RF optimization, authentication (802.1X/RADIUS), and capacity planning
  • Support cloud networking across AWS/Azure/OCI (VPC/VNETs, routing, NSGs, hybrid connectivity)
  • Maintain cloud-to-on-prem connectivity and validate redundancy/resiliency
  • Monitor network performance and availability; tune alerts and respond to network incidents
  • Maintain accurate diagrams and documentation, continuously seeking opportunities to improve performance, resiliency, and security
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security
  • Maintain confidentiality and perform additional duties as assigned

Specialized Skills

  • Routing & Switching (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLANs, QoS) - Excellent proficiency
  • Network Security - Firewalls, segmentation, Zero-Trust concepts, RADIUS/TACACS+
  • Cloud Networking - VPCs/VNETs, routing, hybrid connectivity (Good proficiency)
  • Monitoring & Observability - SIEM integrations, packet captures
  • Automation & CI/CD - Scripting and network automation (Good proficiency), * Bachelor's degree in Networking or IT-related field
  • 4-6 years of hands-on Network Engineering experience
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Travel: Up to 10%
