Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support to join our dynamic IT team. The IT Support will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service while managing a wide range of IT issues. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to and resolve service requests via phone, email, and in-person support.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, including hardware malfunctions, software errors, and network connectivity problems. Escalate issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deactivation. Ensure compliance with company security policies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role, with at least 1 year of hands-on support in a more advanced capacity.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS platforms, as well as common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud-based platforms.

PREFERRED: Competencies & Qualifications

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.)
  • Experience in a corporate or enterprise IT environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols.
