Job description

Researches and develops ideas for new products and systems. General Accountabilities Uses mathematical modelling to determine if a new development is cost-effective. Creates technical plans for prototypes, based on research ideas, using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering SolidWorks software. Collects and analyzes data from tests on prototypes. Modifies designs and re-tests to ensure products are ready for manufacture or installation. Writes or presents regular progress reports for project managers and clients. *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering product design, industrial design, computer-aided design engineering, engineering design and manufacture, or materials science Experience: 3-8 years of related experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication, Problem solving, Self Starter, Critical thinking, Mathematics, Active listening, Attention to details, CAD experience.
