ERP / Business Systems Manager in Wakefield

ERP Systems Manager (Contract - 3 Months)Wakefield (Site-Based) | European Travel | Strong Day Rate, We're working with a growing international manufacturer in Wakefield who need an experienced ERP Systems Manager to come in, take control, and deliver immediate improvements across their ERP landscape.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract where you'll be trusted to assess the current environment, fix what's not working, and optimise systems that underpin complex, multi-site manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of the ERP system from day one - configuration, performance, and optimisation
• Driving upgrades, fixes, and enhancements with minimal disruption to production
• Getting stuck in with operations, supply chain, and finance to streamline processes fast
• Improving MRP performance to support production planning and inventory control
• Cleaning up data and improving accuracy, governance, and reporting
• Troubleshooting issues and delivering quick, effective solutions
• Providing practical user support and guidance where needed

• Proven ERP contractor who can hit the ground running in manufacturing or similar environments
• Strong MRP knowledge and experience across core ERP modules
• Hands-on experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver value quickly
• Solid project delivery skills - able to prioritise, execute, and get results
• SQL or scripting experience is a bonus
