Join a dynamic IT Enterprise Applications team at CPA, where you'll play a critical role in creating and maintaining both public-facing and internal Salesforce applications. This highly impactful position offers hands-on technical leadership and opportunities to shape robust, large-scale solutions in a collaborative environment. You'll work on-site in Austin, TX, with hybrid options, and occasionally travel as required. Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced Salesforce analysis, design, and development services for critical business applications
- Take ownership of reported issues, ensuring timely resolution and transparent progress updates to management
- Analyze and maintain user authentication methods and security architecture within Salesforce
- Design, code, document, and maintain Salesforce application solutions and integrations
- Work closely with business units and technical teams to identify, review, and evaluate solution requirements in an Agile environment
- Document coding/configuration procedures and system processes for ongoing support and compliance
- Develop, execute, and document test scenarios and scripts, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Participate in technical design discussions, peer reviews, and sprint planning
- Prepare clear system documentation, charts, and diagrams depicting present/proposed solutions

Requirements
6+ years as a software developer/engineer on large-scale ERP IT applications

6+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (Apex, JavaScript)

Expertise in Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (custom objects, Lightning pages, Apex, reports, workflows, assignment rules)

Strong background in Salesforce.com API framework and 3rd party API integrations

Proven ability in developing and executing test scenarios, unit/system testing, and documentation

4+ years designing and supporting application security and compliance with information protection standards

Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies

Minimum 1 year serving in a senior developer capacity on a full lifecycle Salesforce implementation

Strong research, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills

5+ years mentoring technical resources and establishing best practices

Experience with UI/UX design

Familiarity with MuleSoft, Salesforce Grants Manager, Jira, Confluence, Dataloader

Public sector experience (Federal, State, Local)
