Job description
- Combine technical leadership with strategic oversight to guide AI/ML initiatives
- Own and manage the lifecycle of AI/ML models, from code development and evaluation to production deployment
- Optimize and fine-tune models to ensure accuracy and high performance in real-world scenarios
- Implement robust model evaluation and drift testing processes to maintain reliability
- Establish and enforce coding and model standards to ensure production-grade quality
- Collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to define project objectives, requirements, and roadmaps
- Deliver scalable AI solutions, advancing prototypes to production-ready systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science
- 1+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles
- Proven proficiency in NLP/LLMs/GenAI methods
- Advanced Python skills, with expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn for AI model development
- Proven expertise in building and deploying production-grade AI/ML models with robust pipelines, monitoring practices, and operationalization in real-world environments
- Strong background in data analysis and probability for model interpretation and insights
- Proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms for scalable, reliable deployments
- Capability to define and uphold high-quality coding practices for maintainable and efficient systems
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, code versioning, and automated testing frameworks
- Familiarity with MLflow for tracking experiments and enhancing model deployment workflows
