SAP ABAP Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated team of developers in delivering high-quality SAP solutions. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP ABAP systems, ensuring compliance with best practices, and driving technical excellence. Responsibilities Manage a team of 10+ developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment Ensure delivery of high-quality code by conducting code reviews, creating test cases, and supervising design reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and development, to align solutions with business requirements Oversee the Agile (Scrum) development process and ensure alignment with the team's goals and timelines Define and maintain software architecture principles to ensure scalable and robust designs Facilitate the modeling, design, implementation, and testing of SAP programming solutions Address and resolve delivery issues while maintaining

the development process Drive the adoption of modern technologies and frameworks in SAP ABAP development Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP technologies Optimize system performance using ABAP Test Cockpit, Performance Tuning, and Runtime Analysis Tools Requirements 7+ years of experience in ABAP programming, ABAP OO, and Design Patterns Proven expertise in ABAP for SAP S/4HANA development using CDS, Fiori elements/SmartTemplates, SAP NetWeaver Gateway, and OData services Familiarity with essential frameworks such as BOPF and BOL, along with ABAP-specific technical solutions Strong understanding of ABAP Test Cockpit, ABAP Performance Tuning, and related Analysis Tools and Techniques Basic knowledge of SAP systems functionality and proficiency in SAP S/4HANA functional areas Experience with Agile (Scrum) development and application/software architecture Leadership experience managing a team of 10+ people Fluent in English at an intermediate or upper-intermediate level Nice to have Knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP HANA Platform, and SAP Cloud Platform Familiarity with ABAP PaaS development techniques such as Side-by-Side Extensibility, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, and RESTful ABAP (RAP) Understanding of SAP Cloud SDK and RESTful services
