Job description
The SAP FICO Architect is responsible for the strategic design, governance, and end-to-end delivery of the SAP financial landscape. This role bridges the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the financial system is scalable, compliant, and integrated seamlessly with modules like SD, MM, and external banking systems., * Solution Design & Strategy: Lead the architectural design of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including Greenfield/Brownfield migrations and Central Finance (CFIN) implementations.
- Process Optimization: Architect and govern Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Configuration & Hands-on Leadership: Oversee the configuration of core modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Controlling (CO) Expertise: Design complex Controlling structures including Product Costing (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Material Ledger.
- Integration Governance: Ensure robust integration between FICO and other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, PS) and third-party financial tools (e.g., Vertex, High Radius, or BlackLine).
- RICEFW Management: Partner with ABAP and BTP developers to design functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops with CFO-level stakeholders to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Core SAP: Expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal, Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting).
- Specialized Modules: Deep experience in FSCM (Credit/Collections/Dispute Management), Treasury (TRM), and New General Ledger.
- Advanced Features: Proficiency in Settlement Management, Revenue Accounting (RAR), and Group Reporting.
- Integration Tools: Experience with SAP BTP, PI/PO, and EDI/IDoc monitoring.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science. SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification is highly preferred.

Preferred Requirements
- Experience with SAP RISE or S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
- Industry-specific experience in Manufacturing, Retail, or Automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with AI-driven financial automation and process mining (e.g., Celonis).
