Job description

As a Junior Solution Architect, you act as the link between business expectations and technical implementation. You translate business needs into clear, structured functional designs and support development teams throughout the delivery process to ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions., * Translate business requirements into detailed functional and solution specifications.

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather, analyze and clarify business needs.
  • Work with APIs, data models, SQL concepts, cloud environments and system architecture fundamentals.
  • Design process flows, functional diagrams, user stories and test scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with development and technical teams to ensure correct and efficient implementation.
  • Execute and document tests, analyze defects and support troubleshooting activities.
  • Communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, documentation standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solution Designer, Functional Analyst, or in a similar role.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of APIs, data models, SQL, cloud concepts and general IT architecture.
  • Proven experience in creating functional documentation, diagrams and test cases.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and critically challenge requirements when needed.
  • Clear communicator, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum) is considered an asset.
  • Proactive, structured and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Dutch and a good knowledge of French is a plus.
