Job description

pleasefix.ai is building Cursor for finance & strategy analysts : automating workflows across Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Chrome so analysts can focus on thinking , not document production.

Unlike web-based or modelling-only tools, our platform integrates directly into analysts' native tools , fully adapted to each firm's templates and connected to internal & external data sources.

Backed by US & EU investors, our engineering team is based in Brussels, while our go-to-market team operates from New York., We are hiring an AI Engineer to build and deploy production-ready LLM agents that power our AI platform. You will own the development of agentic systems, from building the multi-agent architecture to developing all required tools and prompts.

What you'll do

  • Build production-ready LLM agents with multi-step reasoning and tool use
  • Design and implement agentic workflows using Pydantic AI
  • Integrate LLMs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI) into customer-facing features
  • Develop AI-powered automations for Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Chrome

Requirements

  • 1+ years of software engineering experience with a strong AI focus
  • Experience building or deploying LLM-based systems in production
  • Background in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluent in English

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI for AI backend development
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI) and their APIs
  • Experience designing multi-agent systems and workflow orchestration
  • Solid understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation methods
  • Experience building APIs and scalable backend systems
  • Familiarity with tool use, function calling, and structured outputs in LLMs
