Job description
Akkodis is seeking a Python and Kafka Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality through complex SQL and mappings, and resolving production issues across cloud-based platforms., Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Kafka to support real-time and batch data processing. Design and implement data integration, cleansing, and validation rules to ensure data quality and accuracy. Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Oracle and MS SQL databases for analytics and reporting needs. Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 6-8 years of overall experience, including 3-5 years in data management and software development. Must have strong, hands-on experience with Python and Kafka for building and maintaining data pipelines. Proven experience with data warehousing, complex SQL, cloud technologies, and working in Agile/Scrum environments with production support exposure.
