Business Intelligence Manager

365 Retail Markets, LLC seeks a Business Intelligence Manager in Troy, MI to develop and implement dashboard and analysis solutions to guide the business in financial and growth decisions. Interface between dashboard and analysis users to gather information, document processes and verify final documents with users. Create and maintain data-driven insights and dashboards, detailed analyses by analyzing business processes, anticipating requirements, and identifying areas for improvement. Visualize data via Excel, Gainsight, Power BI and other data representation tools to help tell the "story" of any insights gained and presenting that to various level stakeholders at the company. Analyze business data, present results, and develop optimization strategies to support cross-functional team members and management. Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements and track/report on progress towards those goals and implement changes. Develop new analytical models, reporting dashboards, and ways to standardize data collecting and reporting for the company to improve business performance. Establish and perform user acceptance testing to ensure reporting dashboards operate properly and numbers are accurately represented on an ongoing basis. Gather critical information from stakeholder meetings. Identify and monitor current and future customers using business intelligence data and tools. Scope and develop new customer cube to be utilized by the company. Work with Data team to develop Data Lake/Warehouse to house all required data from multiple sources. Identify develop, catalog, and document end-to-end Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes. Build and maintain dashboards and analytical reporting pivots used to analyze and report on data created within the Customer Cube. Liaise between finance and current internal and external data teams when changes and updates are required and for issue resolution. Ensure proper security protocols are met, enforced, and audited. Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Identify, evaluate, and scope staffing and resource requirements for future dedicated Data team. Support hiring processes for data specialists, such as data architects, when needed. Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff. Research and maintain awareness of latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Monitor market trends to identify future issues and business possibilities. Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Data Analytics, or a foreign equivalent.

Qualified applicants must have five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Intelligence Manager, Data Engineer, or substantially similar position performing business analysis; including 1)Developing BI Reporting and Analytics solutions, including interactive dashboards, data visualization reports and build decision support tools; 2) Developing business intelligence reports using BI applications, including Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, MS SSRS; 3)Developing custom SQL scripts and performing data analysis in an Oracle and Microsoft SQL database environment; 4) Performing data manipulation, database design and writing database scripts for BI Solutions; and 5) Creating and maintaining, technical and master templates and documentation for reports and user training; 6) Utilizing Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Power BI, Service, SSRS, SSIS, SAS, Alteryx, Snowflake Cloud DB, and Informatica.
