Job description

An Edifecs Developer works on healthcare data exchange systems, mainly dealing with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions, healthcare standards, and integration solutions using Edifecs tools., Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Edifecs products like: XEngine SpecBuilder MapBuilder Transaction Management Work with healthcare EDI formats such as: X12 (837, 835, 834, etc.) HL7 Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications Develop and maintain mappings, validations, and rules for data processing Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data accuracy Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and clients Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA)

Requirements

Strong experience with Edifecs suite tools Knowledge of EDI standards (X12, HL7) SQL and database concepts XML, XSLT, and data transformation Java (sometimes required depending on project) Domain Knowledge Understanding of healthcare workflows (claims, enrollment, billing) Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
