Project #1 Immediate Need - Medium/Small Business Website for booking hotel (launching July) This web application is a B2B travel program for small and medium businesses for this global hotel chain. Due to scalability limitations, the team is moving to a SaaS provider (a well established travel startup). This will launch in July. The focus is on end-to-end user experience rather than custom development-product documentation, recommendations, and decision support. Think Concur-like: companies sign up, add employees, manage bookings, and access hotel inventory in one system. Key goals include integrating reservations and loyalty, automating company verification, and ensuring the product experience comes to life from signup through booking.
Project #2 - Luxury Travel Website (BA assignment targeted for Q1) This web application is a part of a large global hotel chain offering a luxury travel website accessible only to select hotels and approved travel advisors. It provides exclusive hotel details not available on the .com site (e.g., GM contact info, luxury experiences). The team is currently partnering with an agency on a rebrand, with approval to add resources to support research, design, and day-to-day execution. Once the rebrand is complete, the BA will transition to this project. The website launch is targeted for Q1 next year, and the role will be hands-on app-dev BA work (Jira stories, sprint execution).
