Job description

The Network Project Manager leads large-scale fiber build projects end to end-from planning through construction and market launch. This role owns scope, schedule, budget, and execution, coordinating internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role supports the organization's transition to Vitruvi and plays a key role in ensuring continuity and successful execution during the move.

Day to Day

  • Manage fiber network build projects from planning through construction completion
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project tracking
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Maintain in-market presence to support field execution and resolve issues
  • Identify risks and drive mitigation and corrective actions
  • Lead status reviews and deliver executive-ready updates Partner with local market and operations teams to support launch readiness

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing large infrastructure or network projects
  • Direct experience with new fiber construction projects
  • Strong ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and resources
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors/contractors
  • Comfort working with data, budgets, and project tracking tools
  • Excel required; ~30% of day-to-day
  • Clear communicator with both field teams and executive leadership Willingness to be in-market as needed to support construction and issue resolution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with large-scale fiber network deployments
  • Exposure to permitting, ROW, utility coordination, or market launch readiness Executive reporting or dashboard experience (PowerPoint, Power BI)
