Python Backend Developer

Job Overview: We are building production-grade AI backend systems that integrate with enterprise platforms and cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on designing and maintaining Python backend services, data pipelines, and multi-system integrations. You will own problems end-to-end: from API design and service implementation through integration with third-party platforms and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting. This is a hands-on engineering role with high autonomy and clear ownership. Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design and build Python-based backend services that integrate AI workflows with enterprise systems.
• Platform Integration: Build integrations with enterprise platforms including IT management systems and CRM tools.
• Data Architecture: Implement data flows across cloud storage, databases, and data warehouses. Design schemas and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Work with cloud services including container orchestration, managed databases, API gateways, and authentication systems.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Maintain and troubleshoot automated deployment pipelines. Debug infrastructure issues across application, network, and cloud layers.
• Security & Compliance: Implement authentication and authorization patterns. Coordinate with security teams on compliance requirements.
• Observability: Instrument services with structured logging and monitoring. • 3+ years of professional Python backend development (FastAPI or Flask preferred).
• Strong REST API design and async programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services: compute, storage, databases, and managed services.
• Experience integrating with third-party enterprise APIs (ITSM, CRM, or similar platforms).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience with authentication patterns: OAuth 2.0, service principals, and identity management.
• Strong debugging skills across application and infrastructure layers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with LLMs in production environments.
• Familiarity with conversational AI or virtual agent platforms.
• Hands-on work with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
• Experience with document processing pipelines.
• Background with observability and monitoring tools.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments with networked architectures.
