Job description

Parsons is looking for a detail-oriented Emerging Threats Cyber Analyst to join our team. This role is suited for candidates with prior experience performing cybersecurity threat analysis focused on new or evolving cyber threats including new tactics posed by Advanced Persistent Threats. In this role, you will conduct research and maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging cyber threats, contribute to detection strategies, and support a team of threat analysts with the common goal of eradicating vulnerabilities to critical U.S. systems.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, network forensics or other data analysis roles.

  • Seven (7+) years' experience working in the areas of intelligence, information security, network forensics, insider threat or security operations.

  • Lead OSINT research and current world event trends; correlate and translate vulnerabilities across supply chain, defense industrial base and other critical systems of interest.

  • Use predictive modeling and conduct vulnerability assessments to assess threat impact to critical national systems of interest.

  • Must have the ability to analyze data sets to translate knowledge, forecast threats and make recommendations to other analysts working in IC mission spaces.

  • Ability to analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources.

  • Ability to work with development teams and articulate requirements/enhancements to capabilities and tools.

  • Document findings and create detailed reports to ensure tradecraft is continually updated. Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Mentor and guide other team analysts, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Salary Range: $157,500.00 - $283,500.00
