SAP FI CO Analyst

• Serve as the FI/CO subject-matter expert across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments supporting enterprise finance operations.
• Manage and support core SAP Finance and Controlling modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Provide expertise on S/4HANA Finance data structures such as Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, and Margin Analysis.
• Translate differences between ECC and S/4HANA data models for data harmonization and analytics use cases.
• Act as a functional bridge between SAP and Snowflake data engineering teams for finance data transformation initiatives.
• Define and validate finance data mappings from SAP source systems to Snowflake target models.
• Ensure financial data supports accurate reporting, reconciliation, auditability, and profitability analysis.
• Establish and support finance reconciliation rules, data validation, and exception handling processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and technical teams to align reporting and analytics requirements.
• Support audit and compliance requirements by ensuring traceability between SAP and downstream systems.
• Mentor analysts and support change management and user adoption initiatives.

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience.
• Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.
• Deep understanding of SAP FI/CO data models and table structures.
• Strong accounting and controlling knowledge with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP-to-cloud data transformations, preferably with Snowflake.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations or Central Finance initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAP data extraction tools such as CDS Views, SLT, or BW extractors.
• SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
