Job description
Develop and maintain Linux user-space applications using C/C++, adhering to standard Linux application programming practices. Refactor and optimize existing C++ codebases to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Design and implement user-space to device-driver interactions using mechanisms such as ioctl, mmap, sysfs, and shared memory. Debug and troubleshoot complex issues using GDB, logging, and Linux diagnostic tools across development and production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain clear user-kernel interface boundaries while remaining outside kernel and driver development scope. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 8-10 years of experience in Linux user-space software development using C/C++. Strong hands-on experience with Linux OS fundamentals and user-space to device-driver interaction mechanisms (ioctl, mmap, sysfs). Proven ability to debug and maintain complex Linux applications using GDB, logging, and diagnostics tools in production environments.
Benefits & conditions
