Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires developing CMS features, creating APIs, and supporting integrations across digital asset systems., Develop CMS features and backend components using Java and Apache Sling to support content-driven applications. Build and maintain content components, templates, and structured content models for scalable delivery. Create and manage REST APIs to deliver content across web, mobile, and headless channels. Work with content repositories and ensure efficient retrieval, organization, and governance of digital content. Support integrations with digital asset systems (DAM) and other related platforms. Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance stability of content management applications.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 10+ years of experience in content management or backend development roles. Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Apache Sling, and CMS-driven application development. Proven ability to work with REST APIs, structured content models, and integrations with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
