Job description
We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Tier 2 IT Support Engineer to support Tier I analysts and handle escalated technical issues. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and providing dependable support across Microsoft 365, networking, and remote support tools., * Handle Tier 2 support tickets and escalations from Tier I analysts
- Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues
- Provide administrative and technical support within Microsoft 365 admin centers
- Support VPN connectivity, user access, and permission-related issues
- Utilize PSA tools for ticketing, documentation management, and service tracking
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Leverage RMM tools for monitoring, alerting, and proactive issue resolution
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous issues
- Support onsite client projects and assist with technical initiatives and improvements
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 admin centers, Tier 2 networking support, and experience using PSA, RMM, and documentation tools to track, resolve, and prevent issues. This position requires the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Over time, this individual will also support onsite client projects, contribute to technical improvements, and help drive ongoing advancements for customer environments., * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Tier 2 networking support and troubleshooting
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 admin centers
- VPN support and user access management
- Familiarity with PSA tools, documentation management, and RMM platforms
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a high-pressure environment
- Experience supporting Cisco products and Microsoft Server environments (preferred)
- Certifications preferred:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco CCENT

This is a Permanent position based out of Cockeysville, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
